The Perfect Date

The sunset was a beauty,
its rays across the sea.
The waves are crashing onto the beach,
as we sat there silently.
His hand inside my hand, our fingers intertwined.
Capturing the moment was the only thing on our minds.
And as the sun went slowly down,
and its rays were seen no more.
The moon light took over the sky, and looked like heaven’s door.
The moon was shining brightly, lots of stars were in the sky.
It was a magical moment, between him and I.
As we talked during our walk, there was so much to share.
I captured a sparkle in his eye, as the wind blew through his hair.
He had a pretty smile, it went from ear to ear.
He took me into his arms and held me very near.
We kissed each other slowly, the moment was so right.
I did not want it to ever end it was an amazing night.
